Maize Flour Paratha

1/2 kg maize flour
1/4 kg wheat flour
4 tbsp. curd
6 flakes grounded garlic
6 green chilies grounded
A small piece of ginger grounded
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. red chili powder
2 tsp. sugar, optional
1 1/2 tsp. oil for batter
Salt according to taste
Oil for frying

Mix well all the ingredients and Knead with light hand to make a dough for parathas. Add a little water if required.

Heat a tava and grease it with 2 or 3 drops of oil. Rolls small portions of the dough to from medium- sized chapattis, and fry till both sides are evenly browned. Remove from fire and serve
