Suji Vada

1 cup Semolina
2 tbsp curd
1 tsp fenugreek seeds (roasted and pounded)
A pinch of asafetida
A pinch of soda bicarbonate
2 tbsp oil for batter
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp sugar
3 green chillies (ground)
A piece of ginger (ground)
¼ cup water


Heat the oil and pour into the suji, next add the remaining ingredients and mix well . the butter should be of dropping consistency.
Set aside for 2-3 hours
Now, from into small round balls and deep fry on a medium fire till golden brown. Serve hot
